Who we are

This website is run by Digital Genix Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"). We are the data controller for personal data collected through it. You can contact us about privacy at hello@digitalgenixsolutions.com or on +44 7448 821585.

What we collect and why

Enquiries. When you use our contact or audit form we collect your name, email address, company or website, the service and budget you choose, your message and, if you tell us, how you heard about us. We use this to reply to you and, if you ask, to prepare an audit or proposal. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Newsletter. If you subscribe, we collect your email address and your consent. We use it only to send our newsletter, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Free tool results. If you ask us to email you the results from one of our free tools, we collect your email address and the results so we can send them. If you tick the newsletter box, we'll also add you to our newsletter list. Our lawful basis is steps taken at your request and, for the newsletter, your consent.

WhatsApp, phone and email. If you contact us directly we keep the conversation so we can help you. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy.

Analytics. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and whether forms are submitted. If you reject analytics cookies, Google Analytics does not set cookies and receives only limited, cookieless signals under Google Consent Mode.

Session recordings. With your consent we use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used, for example where people click and how far they scroll, so we can fix confusing parts of the site. Clarity masks text you type into forms. If you reject cookies, Clarity does not load.

Advertising. With your consent we use Google Ads conversion tracking, the Meta Pixel and the OpenAI Ads Measurement Pixel to measure whether our ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram and ChatGPT lead to enquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited this site. If you reject cookies, the Meta and OpenAI pixels do not load at all, and Google Ads sets no cookies.

Who we share it with

  • Brevo delivers form enquiries to our inbox, sends your confirmation email, stores newsletter subscribers and sends our newsletter.
  • FormSubmit delivers free tool results to our inbox when you ask us to email them to you.
  • Google provides Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads (cookies only with your consent).
  • Meta provides the Meta Pixel for ad measurement (only with your consent).
  • OpenAI provides the Measurement Pixel for ChatGPT ads (only with your consent).

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need to respond and follow up, and for no more than 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires, usually six years for accounting records.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Email hello@digitalgenixsolutions.com and we will reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
